ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES which may lead to sea water flooding of low-lying coastal areas are possible between Cape Otway and the VIC/NSW border, including Port Phillip and Western Port Bay, during Wednesday and Thursday. Tides are likely to rise well above the normal high tide mark during the Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and evening high tides. Elevated sea levels have since peaked about western coasts. Locations which may be affected include Melbourne, Brighton, Frankston, Ocean Grove, Inverloch, Port Albert, Phillip Island, and Lakes Entrance. A separate warning for DAMAGING WINDS is also current.
